Inspiration for decorating your kitchen for Christmas, including how to hang wreaths on kitchen cupboards.

I decorated my kitchen for Christmas!
I wanted to try a new color scheme this year, but keep it classic enough that it would blend with what I already have going on everywhere else, so I just added some pops of dusty blue into my traditional color palette of red, white and green and I am IN LOVE. I think it’s so pretty!

The unsung hero of this project were the Command
Products.

I used the Command
Medium Wire Hooks for attaching the wreaths to my kitchen cabinets and the Command
Large Utility Hooks for hanging the garland above my kitchen window. They worked great! Watch the video at the end of this post if you want some instructions for hanging wreaths on kitchen cabinets.
I used orange picks, berries and dried orange slices in the garland and it made the whole kitchen feel so cozy and old-fashioned. I love it!

The blue velvet ribbon is luxurious and adds such a beautiful pop of color. Although I will say it’s not the highest quality ribbon. But the color was exactly what I wanted and it still worked!
We visited Germany and Switzerland this past fall, so when I saw the floral jacquard ribbon, I had to include it. It adds so much folksy charm and reminds me of our trip.
I also made a simple orange slice and bow garland to hang from my open shelves. Then I tucked ornaments, greenery, pine cones and more orange slices into my vintage bowls and that’s it. Sweet and simple!

Anyway, I’m very happy with my beautiful Christmas kitchen and just wanted to share in case it gives you any creative inspiration.
Happy crafting!
