Here is how I spent the first weekend of the year – making all kinds of things like these charm earrings.
You can see them all for sale here!
I didn’t really have a plan except to use what beads and charms I had on hand. There’s a lot going on, but that is my style…
The result is that each pair comes out truly one of a kind.
I never realized ho wmany cool trinkets I have in my stash. This was such a great creative exercise to challenge myself to use these items in new ways.
I love the circle ones, I’ve had these bases for about five years and finally put them to good use. My goal was to use my supplies, but now I want to buy more.
While most of this collection are mixy-matchy, I also did color themes, like this gold pair.
I had these little hearts for mixed media dhrines, but duh – they work. perfect for jewelry, which was probably their original use!
These were a bit more complicated to make, but they tell a little story. There are so many elements big and small. I also mixed metals, again using what I had on hand. Creativity has no rules!
Okay, let’s talk about these. They lok stealthy enough to be bag charms. I tried them on and while they are heavier than the other, they still work magic!
